Ms. Safian practices zoning, land use, and general real property law with a focus on special permit, variance, and appeals applications at the Board of Standards and Appeals, and various City Planning Commission filings.
She represents clients in criminal court and Environmental Control Board proceedings in connection with Department of Buildings and Fire Department violations, and is involved in civil court matters pertaining to real estate. In addition, Ms. Safian facilitates commercial and residential real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating contracts and leases.
While in law school, Ms. Safian served as an editor of the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender.
